Public legal page

This page is intended to provide a public policy summary for MsoPak users and App Store review.

1. Overview

MsoPak is a language-learning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you access the app, how that information is handled, and what stays on your device.

The current app flow uses Sign in with Apple for account access and Apple-managed payment systems for purchases or subscriptions. Based on that setup, MsoPak does not store your payment card number or card security details in its own database.

2. Information we use

When you sign in with Apple, Apple may provide account information such as your Apple user identifier, your name, and your email address or Apple private relay email, depending on what you choose to share.

If you make a purchase, subscription, or renewal through Apple, the payment is processed by Apple. MsoPak may receive limited transaction or subscription status information that is necessary to confirm access, but not your full card details.

Learning activity such as flashcard progress, review state, recent practice data, and similar study information may be stored locally on your device so the app can remember your progress and preferences.

3. How we use information

MsoPak uses Sign in with Apple information to let you access your account, keep your session working, and associate your app access with the correct user.

Purchase-related status data is used only to confirm whether premium access, subscriptions, or app entitlements should be active for your account.

Locally stored learning data is used to support features such as flashcards, practice continuity, saved progress, and a smoother learning experience inside the app.

4. Payment information

Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store and Apple payment infrastructure. MsoPak does not directly collect, process, or store credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVV codes, or comparable cardholder data in its own database.

Your payment relationship with Apple is also subject to Apple terms, billing flows, and privacy practices.

5. On-device storage

Some learning-related information is intentionally stored locally on the device to support features such as flashcards, progress tracking, and recent activity.

If you remove the app, clear local app storage, reset your device, or reinstall the app, some locally stored information may be removed unless a separate sync feature is available in the future.

6. Sharing and third parties

MsoPak relies on Apple services for authentication and payment handling where those features are enabled. In those cases, Apple acts under its own privacy terms for the information it collects and processes.

MsoPak does not sell card information and does not claim to store card information internally, because card processing is handled by Apple rather than by MsoPak directly.

7. Data retention

Account-related information received through Sign in with Apple is retained only as needed to provide account access and app functionality.

Locally stored learning data generally remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, removed with the app, or replaced by future app behavior. Payment records remain managed by Apple according to Apple policies.

8. Children and updates

MsoPak is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If the product scope changes, this policy may be updated to reflect those changes.

MsoPak may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

9. Contact

If you need support or have a privacy question, please use the support contact or support channel listed on the App Store product page or inside the app, if available.
